The Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management is a postgraduate program that delivers advanced training, empowering learners with the critical knowledge and skills needed to excel as effective, ethical, and visionary HR leaders.

At Swiss Top-Up Degree, the MBA in HRM TopUp, awarded by West Business School, is specially designed to meet the demands of professionals in today’s fast-changing business environment. The program provides a powerful balance of theoretical knowledge and practical application in human resource management, leadership, and organizational strategy.

This program equips learners with the essential tools to strengthen their expertise in workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement, and strategic HR leadership. At the same time, it refines their decision-making, communication, and organizational management skills, laying a strong foundation for career advancement, sustainable growth, and long-term success in global HR and business management roles.

Program Structure

Top-Up, also known as a bridging or transfer program, allows learners to receive recognition for prior academic achievements and directly enter the final stage to complete an unfinished degree or earn a second qualification without having to start from scratch.

Learners participate in the Final Phase (2 MANDATORY COURSES + Dissertation):
    • Resourcing, Talent Management and Development
    • International Human Resources Management
    • Dissertation

During the Dissertation phase, learners will study under the coordination and delivery of the program by SIMI Swiss's official representative partner in the Middle East region, based in the United Arab Emirates.

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:
    • Apply advanced knowledge, critical thinking, and independent reasoning to integrate HRM concepts into real-world management practices.
    • Implement global best practices in human resource and business management, adapting them to suit organizational contexts and cultural environments.
    • Communicate effectively across diverse business settings to foster collaboration, employee engagement, and strategic alignment.
    • Develop, execute, and manage HR and business strategies efficiently to drive organizational performance and growth.
    • Lead with vision, promoting sustainability, ethical responsibility, and people-centered leadership in business and HRM.
Teaching and Learning Strategy:

The core educational philosophy of the program starts with understanding theoretical concepts, exploring global case studies of successful business applications, and ultimately integrating learned knowledge into the students' businesses and professional environments. In addition to practical knowledge, the program equips students with essential leadership and managerial skills to navigate the complexities of the ever-changing global business landscape.

Student-Centered Learning Approach:

The program follows a student-centered approach, focusing on solving real-world issues faced by learners. This is achieved through foundational knowledge, global case studies, and practical applications. Throughout the coursework, students systematically address their daily management challenges under the guidance of theoretical frameworks, hands-on exercises, expert faculty, and local teaching assistants.
