Accreditation & Recognition
As a member of the program groups at SIMI Swiss, the Top-Up programs are implemented under an independent license granted by Zug Canton, Switzerland. These programs are authorized to provide education and confer private degrees, ranging from the foundational level to doctoral and postdoctoral studies.
Zug Canton
As a member of SIMI Swiss, the Swiss Top-Up degree programs also inherit and implement the highest accreditation standards of SIMI Swiss. They operate under an official license from Zug Canton, with the authority to provide education and award private degrees from Bachelor's to Doctoral and Postdoctoral levels.
ASIC
ASIC is an independent, government-approved accreditation body for schools, colleges, and universities in the UK and overseas. Recognized by UK Visas & Immigration (UK.Gov) and a member of the CHEA International Quality Group, ASIC has accredited SIMI with Premier status.
SVEB
SVEB is the Swiss national umbrella organisation for adult education and operates as a professional association and pressure group. SVEB have had a performance agreement with the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation SERI, which covers a substantial part of specialist work.
HEAD
HEAD (Higher Education Accreditation Division) is an independent accreditation organization in Germany. Achieving accreditation by HEAD demonstrates that SIMI Swiss meets the quality standards compatible with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area, the European Quality Assurance Framework for Vocational Education and Training
ISO 21001:2018
SIMI Swiss is recognized by AQS UK for meeting ISO 21001:2018 standards for educational management systems. These standards are compatible with the European Quality Assurance Framework for Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) and the Quality Assurance in the Higher Education Area Requirements (EGS).
Programmatic accreditation allows joint recognition by partner universities and the professional environment.
OTHM
OTHM is an Ofqual UK.Gov Awarding Body that is fully accredited and recognized. All programs of SIMI Swiss align with OTHM and EQF standards.
